I have been a resident of Kitchener-Waterloo since 2022, and one thing that really bothers me is the condition of the city's roads.

Major roads with heavy traffic like Fischer Hallman, Victoria Street, Ira Needles Blvd, Columbia Street, University Avenue, Fairway Road, and many others have no stretch of 100 meters without a pothole. Residents pay heavy taxes for maintenance, but the roads have been completely neglected and not properly maintained. Over the past two years, these heavily trafficked roads have seen little to no improvement, which is causing damage to cars. 

In today's times, when everything is super expensive, people are struggling to maintain their vehicles, and visitors from outside get a poor impression of our city.

City is seeing massive growth in population and housing. With more people calling it home more taxes hence more income. Now is the time to improve infrastructure to make it better for everyone.

I aim to gather 10,000 signatures on this petition to take it to city hall and urge our elected representatives to voice our concerns and take action in the right direction.
