The Stem Cell Network's Scientific Director, Dr. Michael Rudnicki, was recently published in the Globe and Mail in an opinion article on changes in science research funding in Canada and its impact on research organizations such as the Stem Cell Network.  He asks, "At a time when the cost of chronic disease, a staggering $190-billion per year, continues to grow, can we afford to walk away from a field that is poised to become the singularly dominant health field of our time?"
