There Is a case for Castle hill & Dun Elm being Models for Giant Long Barrows that they lived on

West Kennett, Belas Knapp, Stoney Littleton (Wellow) Long Barrows as well as many Scottish Cairns & Barrows that are chambered are all examples of monuments that could be entered. There are many small long barrows that have no chambers or entrances, yet are symbolic in meaning & significance. Therefore being at the Very centre of the Island, the heart. With other sites orbiting around the further reaches & coastline .. there is a case for suggesting that these are Symbolically Long Barrows, at Huddersfield & Meltham that were occupied on top of.
