I need a help to make a Letter of Protest  

The Application Kimono.com has not published for opposition and cannot be opposed at this time.  I need to contact the Trademark Assistance Center and inquire about filing as Letter of Protest this will give us the opportunity to cancel the trademark before it publish for opposition.

We re-start the petition.

Despite the comment made on the 2nd July by Mrs Kardashian West on her SNS, the change has not made and the registration stays the same.

I sent the petition to USPTO (TrademarkAssistanceCenter@uspto.gov)

Mr. Steven J. Solomon Attorney/Correspondence of Kimono Intimates, Inc (tmdocket@pearne.com) by email.

I have been calling them to see if they recieved the petition correctly,
but I haven’t been able to reach neither of them.

However I had a reply from The Electronic System for Trademark Trials and Appeals (ESTTA) that told me to make a letter of Protest.(See above)

METI sent some specialistes to talk with USPTO team on the 9th,
but there is no official announcement made yet.

@uspto site states "The USPTO will not issue trademark protection for any marks that include: Symbols or words that disparage...national symbols, institutions, or beliefs. »

The reason why this trademark registration application went thorough comes from the fact that the USPTO didn’t acknowledge that "kimono" has such a symbolic meaning for Japan. Once the USPTO acknowledges, we can avoid any further cases to fill « Kimono » as a trademark.

So I re-open this case, in order to:

・ask Kim Kardashian West to abandon "Kimono" related trademark registration.

・make The USPTO recognize "Kimono" as a symbol of Japan in order to avoid any further registration.
