“DOING WHAT MATTERS FOR VICTORIA”
DAN ANDREWS CAMPAIGN MESSAGE
First of all that slogan is absolute bull
Daniel Andrews recently delivered an industrial strength FFFFK U to every single Victorian, when announcing $15 million dollar sponsorship for Netball. Yes Netball because it’s “what matters for Victoria“ FFS…..
Stay with me.
Lets rehash a few events that happened in 2021.
FACTS MATTER
33 people died over the past 18 months due to call-answering delays in an overstretched Victorian Ambulance Service.
Ambulance Victoria is not to blame.
We all remember the day Dan Andrews said he fell over………
DAN ANDREWS FALLS OVER 9th MARCH 2021…….
Ambulance Victoria receives a triple zero call at 6.36am on Tuesday 9 March, 2021 for a patient who had fallen on steps at a house in Sorrento,” the statement said.
“This triage determined the case was appropriate for ambulance response. An ambulance was dispatched from the nearest ambulance branch in Sorrento under normal road conditions at 6.47am. The ambulance arrived at 7.01am.”
Dan Andrews injuries “based on information provided during the call, the case did not require an immediate lights and sirens (life-threatening emergency response) and the call underwent secondary triage”
25 minutes after calling 000 an Ambulance arrived.
MEANWHILE OTHER VICTORIANS ARE DYING WAITING FOR AMBULANCES
OCTOBER 2021
47-year-old Melbourne father, Nick Panagiotopoulos, died after waiting 15 minutes for a triple-zero call to connect and around ten minutes more for an ambulance. Nick required an immediate lights and sirens (life-threatening emergency response)but they were unable to get through for emergency assistance.
Eleven days later a 14-year-old girl Alisha Hussein became seriously ill. Her mother in frightening desperation was forced to drive her daughter to hospital, after waiting over 15 minutes for their triple-zero call to connect to an operator.
Alisha died due to the delay in her receiving critically urgent medical treatment she needed.
Dan Andrews spending $15 million dollars of tax payer’s money on Netball sponsorship is completely & utterly reprehensible. Indicative of political rhetoric & blatantly ugly self entitlement.
Here is a list of things that must be done if your party’s slogan was written in the best interests of…….
DOING WHAT MATTERS FOR VICTORIA.
Stop spending millions on a sporting club when Victorians are in the midst of devastating floods. It’s barbaric to even read or hear anything in relation to that sponsorship & a kick in the guts to all those deeply traumatised by the floods, & the sheer devastation of what they are experiencing right now. People are losing their homes, their livelihood. Animals are suffering too. Yet Dan Andrews sponsors a Netball team with $15million dollars.
What matters for Victoria is ensuring that women & children feel safe. That anyone who uses violence & is violent in any context is held accountable.
What matters for Victoria is ensuring the justice system holds perpetrators accountable when crimes are committed. Serious crimes need serious consequences.
What matters for Victoria is for victims of crime to have their rights prioritised over perpetrators.
What matters for Victoria is ensuring public safety is maintained, & a mandatory priority, when considering bail applications for criminal offences committed..especially when violence occurred.
What matters for Victoria is recognition the current Victorian Justice System is failing to protect women & children from family violence.
What matters for Victoria is ensuring our health care workers & first responders are supported & provided with adequate resources so they can perform their jobs without added risk.
What matters for Victoria is greater support for women & children who have/are experiencing family violence/ & or SA.
What matters for Victoria is recognition that mental health services are so stretched that seeking help is impossible. The demand has been so dramatically increased, & as a result the MH providers are facing burnout also.
What matters for Victoria is those millions Dan Andrews “pledged” to sponsor Netball, should be going towards immediate needs of flood victims. Such as adequate housing, counseling, food, & medicine.
WHAT MATTERS FOR VICTORIA
BRUTALLY VIOLENT KILLERS LIKE HENRY HAMMOND ARE NOT RELEASED BACK INTO THE COMMUNITY. HAVING SUCH A LONG HISTORY & RECORD OF SERIOUSLY VIOLENT CRIMES INCLUDING MURDER HE CANNOT BE PERMITTED FREEDOM TO RE-OFFEND.
CLAIMING MENTAL IMPAIRMENT DOES NOT MEAN SPEND A BIT OF TIME IN THOMAS EMBLING HOSPITAL, THEN MIRACULOUSLY YOU ARE CURED FROM SCHIZOPHRENIA. IF HENRY HAMMOND IS DEEMED “SUITABLE FOR DAY RELEASE” , THEN HE IS THEREFORE SUITABLE TO SERVE OUT THE REMAINDER OF HIS SENTENCE IN JAIL.
Thank you all for signing this & your ongoing support
