Castle Villa are a soccer team based in Castledermot, Co. Kildare.
We have 4 adult teams, 3 mens, 1 ladies, 5 underage boys teams, an underage girls team, and a large number of associate members who use the clubhouse facilities. We also have many other groups, clubs, individuals and organisations who use our facilities.

From the corner near Mick O' Neills pub (The Castle Inn) to the entrance of our grounds - a distance of about 150 metres, there is no footpath, no streetlighting, and it is a narrow road - the Baltinglass Road, for anyone that knows it. The picture above shows the dangers that faces all our members and visitors.

We implore Kildare County Council to install a footpath and streetlighting on this short stretch of road, as many of our members walk or cycle to the grounds.
With the normal amount of traffic on the road, along with the increased numbers from others using the facilities at peak times, we feel it should be of utmost importance for this hazard to be eliminated without delay.
