Thanks to your continuing support, my petition to stop the sale of animals on Kijiji Canada has now reached more than 70,000 signatures!!! I am sure that Kijiji Canada doesn't love the negative attention (remember the recent TV consumer alert of a Toronto woman who recently bought her daughter a puppy from Kijiji who was shocked when the pet died 6 days later?), but I'm guessing they might not like it either if they start getting blowback from more advertisers. We know that RBC Royal Bank, WestJet, National Bank, zulily, Toyota Canada, and Tangerine Bank all removed their ads from Kijiji's pet sale pages. Walt Disney Company is another large company that advertises on Kijiji's pet section.
