This closed petition is now being sent to Norwegian Cruise Line to deploy the Norwegian Spirit in the Port of L.A. Like said, the Norwegian Escape will replace it in Europe after its debut in October 2015. Norwegian Spirit and Norwegian Star will be the 2 NCL ships which will regularly home port in San Pedro starting December 2015, and will make L.A's cruise industry go up by a whole lot of money, along with other petitions that have been signed to bring other cruise ships to port. In fact, another petition was sent to Royal Caribbean International to bring two of their ships to sail from Los Angeles, and a lot of suggestions of which ships to deploy have been spreading across. Southern California's cruise economy should be going up starting summer 2015, as a result of these two petitions.
