My petition to halt further development in Assiniboine Forest has collected nearly 1000 signatures.  Thanks for your support.  If you haven't already, please share the petition with your friends, family, and contacts.

I provided an update to stakeholders, Mayor Bowman, Councilor Kevin Klein, MLA Myrna Driedger, and MLA Heather Stephanson.

I heard back from is Councilor Kevin Klein. He said that my information is "not accurate and directing negativity towards the good people of the Charleswood Rotary Club." If he'd bothered to read the petition, he'd realize that the information is accurate, and that I had commended the Rotary Club for all their work in Assiniboine Forest and in the community.

My understanding is that Kevin Klein has been responding to emails  by saying that his office has nothing to do with the Rotary Club's planned "enhancements" to Assiniboine Forest and that it's between Public works and the Rotary Club.  Last time I checked, Kevin Klein was the councilor for the ward of Charleswood/Tuxedo which contains the Assiniboine Forest.
