As of 6 am this morning we had 2500 signatures/comments on the petition. I have express mailed a hard copy to the lead bear recovery coordinator and I sent a personal email with a .pdf attached with petition signatures/comments to all of the contacts listed in the letter on this page. Please continue sharing the petition and signing as it still goes directly to the names listed on the letter (I just emailed them directly to make sure there were no glitches with them receiving the petition from change.org). If I receive a response I will update here. I have been told by those with more knowledge of the situation that a bear is often euthanized within 72 hrs of their capture, whether that is fact I do not know. Make sure you also call to express your concerns for this mother bear and her cubs.
