Despite a ruling by a federal judge in the sixth Circuit Court of appeals, Rowan County, Kentucky Clerk Kim Davis and Casey County Clerk Casey Davis refuse to do their jobs by not issuing marriage licenses to couples wishing to be married in Rowan and Casey Counties. It is time for them to be recalled. If elected officials blatantly refuse to do the jobs they are elected to do, they should no longer hold office. Since they are elected and not hired, only a recall election can accomplish this goal. It's time a recall election was held in Rowan and Casey Counties to remove these clerks from office.

The U.S. Supreme Court's ruling in Obergafell legalized the marriage of same-sex couples all across America and these clerks is refusing to do the job to which they were elected citing personal religious beliefs, thus stopping progress in two entire counties.  Quite simply, it is time for them to go.
