My husband, James I. Thacker was a Sheriff's Deputy in Pike Co, KY.  One January 23, 2012, he was hit head on in his cruiser by David Wayne Childers and died on impact.  David was intoxicated and traveling at a high rate of speed. David is a repeat offender. He denies any wrong doing in the letter's he has written to me. He does not show remorse or guilt.  David is going up before the parole board on November 19, 2015.  How can a man's life, be worth only 4 years?  Please sign this petition so I can present it to the parole board.  James was a loving grandfather of 6, father to 6, a wonderful son, and an active member of his community and police department.
