We inherently appreciate the fine quality of education provided by the Department of Modern and Classical Language Studies. However, we find a gap in the curriculum in the form of lack of Intermediate Arabic levels 1 and 2. The Arabic language is of utmost importance and is spoken by over 274 million people worldwide. In our diverse society, integrating intermediate Arabic course to the curriculum is crucial. 
The Arabic language not only enhances our ability to communicate with family and peers, but it also bridges cultural gaps and unites people. It generates a sense of community, fosters understanding, and promotes multiculturalism.
Therefore, we call on the Department of Modern and Classical Language Studies to recognize the importance of Arabic language learning in our close knit community and request the addition of Intermediate Arabic Levels 1 and 2 to the curriculum.
