Good afternoon Kent School District,

Please take the time to read our petition in regards to our Class of 2021 graduation.

Our Class of 2021 Parent’s and Seniors feel with the school’s reopening, that we should be able to have a full graduation. At this time our school district wants us to have a drive up graduation, but with everything starting to reopen and everyone getting vaccinated, we ask for our school district to re-consider their decision. We have seen posts from other schools stating they will be having their full graduation celebration using the T-Mobile field. Even if the T-Mobile field is not available, I am sure we can find another location, that will give our kids the celebration they deserve. Our kids have worked so hard in the past 13 years, to get to this day, for them not to have a big celebration, is devastating.  I’m sure we can figure out a way for us to stay safe and celebrate with our Seniors.  Even if we had to limit the amount of people invited per senior to 4-6, I am sure that each family would appreciate this so much. So we are asking you (Kent School District) to please re-consider your decision on our Class of 2021 Graduation Celebration!
