Assalamualaikum semua
Petisyen di atas merupakan permintaan calon peperiksaan SPM 200 terhadap Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia untuk mencari alternatif bagi mod peperiksaan tersebut di bawah pandemik ini.
Harapkan semua sanggup meluangkan sebahagian masa anda untuk membaca sentimen para pelajar tingkatan lima 2020 (kata-kata penting telah ditebalkan dalam text supaya anda dapat memahami petisyen tersebut dengan mudah. ）
Jika anda ingin menjimatkan masa, petikan ringkas mengenai petisyen telah disediakan seperti berikut:
**Petikan ini adalah secara rumusan, untuk informasi yang lebih tepat dan perinci, tolong merujuk kepada penerangan yang disebut dalam kandungan petisyen**
Bahagian atas mengenai sebab-sebab para pelajar merasai keperluan untuk melaksanakan perubahan terhadap peperiksaan:
• kesihatan mental pelajar
• tahun persekolahan yang berpanjangan ( termasuk tempoh persekolahan di kolej dan universiti )
Bahagian bawah pula merupakan cadangan kami kepada KPM mengenai alternatif untuk peperiksaan awam ini:
• Menggunakan keputusan percubaan atau ramalan (forecast) sebagai pengganti peperiksaan sebenar untuk memutuskan keputusan rasmi SPM
• peperiksaan kemasukan (entrance examination) dijadikan kewajipan bagi kolej, universiti dan institusi-institusi untuk kemasukan dan pemutusan calon pemegang biasiswa
• SPM Ulangan 2020/2021
**sudah wujud banyak kes di negara-negara lain yang telah membatalkan peperiksaan yang seperingkat dengan SPM, atau lebih tinggi daripada SPM.

Kita memahami bahawa kerisauan KPM terhadap keadilan alternatif-alternatif ini yang selain cara peperiksaan tradisional, namun kita sebagai pihak terjejas mestilah memaklumkan bahawa keadilan peperiksaan ini memang tidak lagi wujud apabila para pelajar tidak menerima tempoh dan kualiti pengajaran yang sama. Hal ini kerana di bawah strategi kerajaan dan keadaan wabak yang berbeza di setiap kawasan dan negeri, tempoh persekolahan setiap calon juga berbeza. Kita patutlah lebih fleksibel dan mengubahsuaikan diri dengan setiap ketidakpastian di bawah pandemik ini.
Jika anda bersetuju dengan kandungan di atas, kami berharap anda menghulurkan bantuan untuk menandatangani petisyen ini dan menyebarkannya kepada rakan-rakan, keluarga dan lain-lain. Above petition is from the SPM EXAMINATION candidates 2020, requesting the Ministry of Education for alterations of the examination.
Please spare some time to read about the students sentiments ( important words are bolded so you can use the least time to understand the petition) , and even if you don’t , below is a short summary on the petition :
The upper part is mainly about the reasons students feeling the need for alterations on this examination
— student’s mental health
— prolonged school years
We have also included a few proposals to the MOE regarding the alternatives that can be taken
— using trial or forecast results as substitutive SPM official results, while colleges, universities and institutions organise school entrance exams or aptitude tests to gauge the student‘s ability and to give out scholarships.
— SPM Ulangan 2020/2021
The official SPM certificate is compulsory, but students can still be given a chance to take the actual written SPM examination with the usual SPM Ulangan dates

We understand that the main concern of the MOE is about the 15% students who have not carried out their trial examinations and also the fairness of these solutions other than the traditional written SPM examination. In our opinion, the fairness of this examination no longer exists when the students do not receive the same durations and quality of teaching as this pandemic affects the schooling period of different states and schools. An absolute fair solution is a total pipe dream, but what we can do is just to be flexible and find alternatives for it.

我们明白政府及大众顾虑学生除了传统考试方式之外的任何方法都有失公平性，但我们作为这场争论中最直接的当事人非常有必要指出— 这个考试在各州与各学校的学生们根据当地疫情情况反反复复返校又停课的情况下，绝对的公平已决然不存。
