We the undersigned call upon the Prime Minister Keir Starmer to take definitive action on the Israeli occupation of Gaza and the West Bank. 

For almost 1 year, Israel have conducted an offensive against Palestinian militant elements, however it has become apparent to the entire world that Israel are acting without any due care or forethought to the safety and wellbeing of non-combatants in Palestinian territories, and also now the Lebanon, including women and harrowingly, thousands of children.

It is accepted by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) that Israel is in breach of international law. The UK Government is complicit in their crimes.

We call upon Keir Starmer to:

1. Suspend ALL arms sales to Israel including the F35 Fighter components; 
2. Remove all rights of passage and access to UK military bases including RAF stations to the Israeli military, US military units involved in intelligence operations in Israel, or vehicles carrying munitions bound for Israel;
3. Place economic sanctions/ a trade embargo on Israel and require UK companies to cease trading with Israeli companies;
4. Call for an immediate ceasefire in the conflict from both sides;
5. Call on Israel to release the 4000+ Palestinian hostages it currently holds without trial including children, and in return call on Palestinian forces to release the Israeli hostages they hold;
6. Call on Israel to return to Palestinian authorities land occupied by Israeli settlers/military since October 2023 including homes and farms;
7. Call on Israel to allow the free passage of aid including food, water, medical supplies, and medical professionals to access Gaza and the West Bank to provide vital resources for the starving and injured;
8. Recognise publicly the need for a two state solution and recognise the Palestinian peoples' right to a nation state.

When the UK abstained from the UN motion, it was a dark and shameful day for our country. We cannot and must not defend our allies at the cost of human slaughter and suffering.
