For Pasadena, CA. residents. The proposed reduction of traffic lanes from four to two on East Orange Grove Blvd will restructure the street between Lake Avenue and to Sierra Madre Villa Avenue. Orange Grove is a main arterial boulevard that allows people and goods to move successfully across town. This lane reduction would hamper the purpose of this street and impair its use by causing traffic gridlock, longer commute times, and increased pollution from idling cars, as well as hindering the movement of emergency vehicles and residents access to their homes. Spillover traffic will affect the surrounding streets and neighborhoods.
