The East Baton Rouge Parish Library System is the best asset this community has.  It is nationally ranked and serves every segment of the community.  It is a good steward of the tax dollars entrusted to their care and the record on investment is amazing.  Not one dollar of the funds voted by the tax payers for the specific use of the library system should be stolen and given to an agency that has yet to make the case for why they can't go to the tax payers and ask for a dedicated millage if they are short of funds.

This is an unethical idea and disrespects the wishes of the voters.  To the Mayor-President and the Metro Council of East Baton Rouge Parish, keep your hands off our beautiful library system.
