Coin collectors, Coin roll hunters, and even normal consumers will be affected by the US government stopping the production of the 1/100 coin (commonly referred to as the penny).  Coin Collectors will be affected because one of the most famous coins in US circulation will not be made anymore. Coin roll hunters will be affected because banks will (and have) stopped giving and taking cent rolls. Normal consumers will be affected because some stores may not give exact change in the near future. If we do not act soon the US federal reserve may stop ordering cents all-together. Think about how many times today you've seen items priced at .99, if businesses don't round up you will lose a cent at almost every transaction. These are my reasons why the cent should still be produced.
