Here with some good news! 

The TRFO Clinic has announced they will be staying open with the locum support they have received. Currently they are accepting patients with due dates past July 31st up until December. They are saying this should be extended as long as staffing levels remain the same! 

In addition to the TRFO staying open Interior Health has a new Midwifery Clinic that has opened within the hospital called the “Midwifery Antenatal Care Clinic” this is also going to be a great addition to Kamloops’ prenatal care. Interior Health has stated that this clinic is not to replace TRFO - this is such great news a new clinic to help more moms to be! 

I am not closing the petition at this time as I want the option to come back here if things don’t go as expected come December, though I am optimistic that things are looking up!
