A week ago this petition was presented to the Legislature, more as an impact statement as this is not an official petition

As of now it has not been accepted (this was expected) but we still have not heard an update from the Health Minister. 

The last day the house sits before Fall is May 11 - if you have the time an email to the Health Minister asking for action with urgency could be helpful. 

I will be speaking with MP Caputo in the next week and will hopefully be able to provide another update soon.

We hit 5000 signatures! I am thankful for all the support shown to this issue & encourage everyone to continue talking about the closure and communicating to our officials that this is not acceptable and we want change before the closure date in July.
