Hey everyone,

Just wanted to send a quick update and thank you again for signing the petition to bring speed cameras to our city streets. Your support really matters.

So far, over 3,000 people have signed the "ditch the cameras" petition  — which just shows how important it is that we make our voices heard too.

We’re getting close to our first 100 signatures — and I know we’ll pick up more soon. I’ve also emailed every single member of our municipal government. Out of all of them, only one councillor has responded in support. That says a lot about where we stand and how much more work we have to do.

If you can, please take a second to share our petition with anyone else you know who cares about safer streets and preventing dangerous driving in our neighbourhoods.

I’ll check in again when we hit the halfway mark to 1,000. This will not be an annoying newsletter, I promise.
