Thank you for previously signing our petition in support of restoring New Jersey’s Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA). While the original petition you signed is now outdated, the bill has been reintroduced once again - S211 for the 2026-2027 legislative session. 

It’s important to understand that this bill has been around for almost 14 years and, unfortunately, has never moved to a committee hearing. That’s why we must shift from passive support to active pressure, as we are coming up on the 15 year anniversary of the ongoing suspension of COLA.

We are asking you to help by doing one very simple thing:

Post #COLANOW on the Governor’s and your legislators’ social media posts when appropriate. (Posting on religious, sensitive, holiday posts, etc is highly discouraged) Please use your judgment. 

Post nothing more—just #COLANOW. Consistency and volume matter. No spaces and use all caps! Ex. #COLANOW 

It’s that easy.
