Today is a great day!

Sony recently announced a New PS5 System Software Update that plans to add back the four PlayStation themes and sounds to the PS5 UI! The software update will roll out April 24th, 2025. The blog post has no mention of the PS1 boot-up being re-added, but I think we can all consider this a success. Sony claims that this update is "due to the overwhelmingly positive response from our community."

This could not have happened without each and every one of you. I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. This was an extraordinary petition. Be proud of yourself! Play Has No Limits.
