It appears that the Kingston museum has recently suffered mass resignations from its board of directors:

How this affects their category B status or their ability to procure the SS Keewatin remains to be seen; I have volunteers looking into this and I'll be in touch. It does, however, speak loudly and clearly to our position that Port McNicoll - not Kingston - is the place where the ship will be best looked after.
