Forced transfers were recently announced in the Cherry Hill Public Schools. Ms. Susan Nicolozzo-Dollarton is being transferred to Cherry Hill West. Ms. Nic, as she is affectionately called by her devoted students, has been a beloved math teacher at East for over 20 years. When I think of the "heart" of East, she immediately comes to mind. During the pandemic, she went house to house visiting the Class of 2020 with Crimson. She planned and facilitated special events on the 21st of several months for the class of 2021. She makes connections with each of her students. Our kids have been through enough trauma during the pandemic. How can our school district cause them more needless trauma by forcibly transferring the heart of East at this time? Please sign this petition to show our administrators and the Board of Education that this is not the time to make a change.
