We have the last PACK THE POOL event, maybe ever (but hopefully not) on this Saturday, from 1-3pm. It's free, and parking is free! Come celebrate the pool, and help us support keeping it alive for generations to come!

Make donations to RAAFT via PARC Foundation to the Evergreen State College Pool Fund checks can be mailed to: PARC Foundation of Thurston County, 120 State Ave NE, #1463, Olympia, WA 98501. Please make sure to include "Evergreen State College Pool Fund" as the memo line.

We are still waiting for the first estimations of the cost of the repairs from ORCA/Pacific, the pool repair company. As soon as we know that we will share it with the group.

We also have been conducting feasibility surveys of the community, both of those that are interested (including yourselves), but also going out to West Olympia neighborhoods, house to house. The positive response has been overwhelming! 

Here is a glimpse of what we’ve already learned: 
44% didn’t know the pool was open
Over half said they would sign up for memberships under the new management by RAAFT
Folks told us again and again about being turned away from swim lessons at local pools due to no availability
