Personal requests to sign are the best way to grow the petition. Sharing your concerns on social media produces results. Our biggest source of signatures is from Facebook. Why do we care? If the Commission accepts the petition by the building industry to delist, it will drain resources from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife to prepare a report and environmental review before the Commission can take final action to delist or not delist. This will take 12-18 months at minimum and distract scientists away from important work to protect wildlife. Help us avoid this misuse of resources by convincing the Commission now to reject the petition. The effort to delist is misguided and based on bad science.
