Hello Fellow Petitioners,

There were 3 appeals for rehearing to the Nashua Zoning Board regarding their approval of the disc golf project proposed at Roby Park Forest in Nashua.

For the most up to date information keep an eye on the planning and zoning meeting agendas and minutes. Also, you can participate on zoom if you get the information from zoning, details below. 

Tonight, there will be a zoning meeting to discuss the merits of the decision and the appeals, details below  (including the content of the appeals).  The meeting will not allow public comment, it will just be a discussion between Zoning Board members to decide whether to rehear the case or not.  However, it is good to have a strong physical showing of opposition. We will have buttons for folks to wear just come up and ask one of us wearing said buttons.  Thank you to Melinda for designing and obtaining these buttons for us.  

IF a rehearing is granted and I expect it won't be, then it will have to go to planning where we once again will have a LOUD voice.  This will be the last stop unless we have representation to bring it through the court system.  If a rehearing is not granted, then we will seek legal representation to move up to the court system.

Please share the petition with as many people as you can.  It is preferrable to have members of Nashua, but as we saw at the last zoning meeting they are considering opinions from all over the place so we will accept signatures from all over.  

There hasn't been much,  if any,  work done on the project (assuming they knew there would be appeals).  The costs are adding up for this "free" project and has well exceeded the original $30K Rotary West Grant, though the City is taking money from "a general fund" i.e. taxpayer dollars.
