Thank you all for your support. We are off to a slow and late start... but we are going to have to ramp it up and shout from the rooftops.  Each day more and more of the forest is decimated.  I spoke at the Board of Alderman meeting last night.  I don't think that, other than Alex Comeau, they cared about the very valid inherent safety risks and liability risks I raised.   An alderman said he thinks Disc Golf is a great idea because it will bring revenue to the City, but he "hopes" no one gets hurt. Perfect.  "Hope" doesn't sound like a very good way to prevent injuries to other users of the park and trails. 

To ensure the safety, IF you can ever ensure the safety of other users of the trails and park, you would have to completely shut the trails off from the public DAILY and hand it over to Disc Golf exclusively (furthering the alienation of wildlife and other non-special interest groups).  And I would certainly hope that is not the direction this is going because that would be appropriating the trails at Roby for an exclusive group and alienating the  general public.
