Victoria has the lowest share of public housing in Australia at 2.8% versus the national average of 4.1%.

These are historic lows compared to 10% in the early 1980's.

There are over 55,000 households on waiting list in Victoria for public housing. A jump of 4,000 households in just the last quarter.

Meanwhile the Allan government is selling off publicly owned land that could and should be used for public housing.

If the Allan government was actually serious about providing affordable housing, then the Allan government would be using this irreplaceable publicly owned asset for public good rather than private profit.
