Jorge Rivera-Herrans, director the the Epic Musical has released many songs about Homer's Illiad and Odyssey. Fans favorite character are most likely Polites, also known as "Pancake." This petition was started because many song lyrics imply Polites is dead. Fan animations also show Polites die in the song "Survive" where Polyphemous kills about 40 men of Odysseus's crew. This is non-canonical, because in book 10 of the Odyssey, line 224, we here Polites speak to Euryluchus about Circe's palace. If this gets recognized and fully approved, in the musical, Polites will make it to the end with Odysseus and sing his lines "Greet the world with open arms" at the end. (If Jorge doesn't agree with this, the bare minimum he could do is end the musical with Steven Dookie singing).
