Thank you to the many Parents, Staff and Volunteers that attended from ALL schools that are being proposed to close. The meeting started with sign holders outside voicing respectfully to not close their school and as everyone was asked to come inside the sign holders stood in the back holding up signs that they had made. There was a lot of emotions throughout the meeting during the Public Comment portion that you could see spread to the Trustees as well. Everyone who signed up got their opportunity to speak for 3 minutes and just about everyone had practiced enough to get their point across. Lots of similar viewpoints but also lots of eye opening information was presented.
For Park Crest we had a few speakers who came out and with lots of planning and preparation we presented our viewpoints. Park Crest had a few supporters in the crowd and we were able to show the Trustees we meant business.
