Thank you for signing this petition if you have to quote so many of you -  “to send so many car seats to the landfill is just ridiculous”.

I set this petition up in sheer frustration to be honest that these companies must be making an awful lot of money from these products. Any yet, there’s no easily accessible recycling programme for all UK parents to dispose of car seats in a less harmful way, meaning the landfill is largely their destination.

I have expressed my wish personally to almost every big baby name I can think of - and as yet no one has been in touch to take the bull by the horns and be the lead in creating this, what I feel, is a simple eco-friendly strategic move.
