Many parks have remained open, and some states (such as Utah) have stepped up to staff and fund national parks to keep them open. Unfortunately, there will still be serious issues due to lack of NPS staffing, but at least those who were counting on visiting parks will, for the most part, be able to visit -- albeit with little or no support.
