Movati officially sent out emails to their playroom users this morning claiming that they will be permanently closing this service due to its “declining and limited use”…

1) the play is solely declining because they have chosen to understaff the playroom for quite some time now resulting in families being waitlisted or refused due to staffing issues. That being said - the staff that is working is wonderful & clearly overworked because of said managerial / hiring issues.

2) the playrooms “limited use” is ALSO a result of management & hiring issues. FAMILIES need to call in at 8:30am PRECISELY 48 hours in advance to book their playroom spot or they will miss out & spots will already be booked. Playroom being fully booked in an EVERY. DAY. Issue. 

3) there is NO shortage or NEED for this service. In fact; they need MORE staff, more open hours, a bigger space. The NEED is there. 

4) Movati - cut the crap & let’s be real. This closure is strictly because you’d rather fill your pockets with Reformer classes than to service loyal families at your club. Shame on you.
