Digital tickets are convenient. For most fans, they can remain the standard way to enter a FIFA World Cup match.

But going digital should not mean losing the choice of a real physical match ticket.

For generations, the ticket was more than something that got you through the turnstile. It carried the match, the date, the stadium and your place inside it. After the final whistle, it became a small piece of football history — and a personal memory of being there.

This campaign is not against technology and it is not asking FIFA to return to paper-only ticketing. Fans who prefer mobile tickets should continue to use them.

We simply believe there should still be a choice. A supporter who wants a genuine physical ticket should be able to receive one before the match and actually use it to enter the stadium — not only buy a souvenir copy afterwards.

Football changes, and technology changes with it. But not every tradition has to disappear just because a digital alternative exists.
