Northwestern's train station shuttle bus system (servicing to Ogilvie, Union, Millenium, and Lasalle) helps make the morning commute easier and faster for thousands of NM and NU employees. On Monday, January 6, Northwestern announced that they would be shutting down the shuttle service after March 28, 2025. 

NM and NU employees are furious that Northwestern did not consult the people who use the service before making this decision. They claim that the CTA will act as a suitable replacement for commuters, and they claim it will be cheaper, but there's a reason so many people pay for this service over riding the CTA in the first place! 

Riding the CTA involves multiple transfers and extra travel time incorporated into an already far commute for those traveling by train. CTA buses and trains are notoriously unreliable and involve multiple stops which adds time and stress to the morning commute. 

We want a stress-free, smooth commute experience. Northwestern's plans to end the train shuttle service are against the wishes of so many of us commuters. Sign this petition to show your support in keeping the shuttle service alive!
