As a long time Boston sports fan & a loyal longtime Xfinity Comcast Customer I am asking all of you to sign a petition to get Comcast to include NESN & NBC SPORTS BOSTON AVAILABLE IN LOWER TIER COMCAST PACKAGES. Frankly this is outrageous! We already pay unbelievable prices at Comcast and now for the millions of Boston sports fans we have to purchase a higher tier, ( that's right you have to upgrade your package on Comcast Xfinity) in order to get Boston sports channels. My father is 96 years old , and a United States Veteran.He loves his Boston Sports Channels, especially NESN. I can not tell you how blessed I am that he is still with me. There are just so many happy memories of us watching our favorite Boston Sports teams together including the Boston Red Sox 2018 World Series win. He and every senior deserves the joy of being able to turn on the television and watch their favorite Boston Sports teams affordably . We love our NESN Broadcast team and cherish the memories  of those we have lost like Jerry Remy & Tim Wakefield.  We barely get by with the outrageous amount of money we're paying for Comcast now. I've downgraded as much as I can and even though we're in a contract which I thought was a binding contract , all of us have to upgrade to be able to watch these channels. As far as I know nobody was informed ahead of time of this deal. It is completely unfair to customers.You will no longer be able to watch Red Sox baseball, Boston Bruins hockey, or the Boston Celtics basketball unless you upgrade your package! Let's see how many people we can get to demand that Comcast not eliminate these channels from the lower tier lineups.  I don't want $12 off my bill when I will just have to purchase NESN + separately & probably NBC  SPORTS BOSTON ALSO IF IT IS EVEN AVAILABLE.THERE GOES THE $12 CREDIT THEY HAVE PROMISED CUSTOMERS!  COMCAST IS OUT OF TOUCH WITH REAL PEOPLE AND THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THE OUTRAGEOUS PRICES THEY ARE ALREADY CHARGING US. PLEASE , ALL BOSTON SPORTS FANS, SIGN THE PETITION TO GET THE POWERS THAT BE TO TAKE NOTICE. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
