Mount Pleasant Golf course has been earmarked for development by Messrs' Bloor Homes. This raises an enormous amount of concerns for Lower Stondon's residents.

Stondon and its surrounding areas have seen a great deal of development over the last few years and this is having a significant negative impact on the environment, green spaces, local wildlife and the daily lives of local communities.

Mount Pleasant Golf Course is an important, valued and well used  local village Sporting Amenity which provides environmental, sustainability, physical and mental health and welfare benefits for both the community and residents of neighbouring villages.
