As a resident of Buda, I’m frustrated that many of my neighbors in Buda and Kyle don’t have the same US Representative as me. That means that our voices aren’t well represented in Washington, because of two reasons:

1. Hays county is divided across multiple representatives.
2. The majority of constituents in districts 21 and 35 live in other counties.

The Governor of Texas has called for a special session this summer (2025) to develop a new congressional map. The Texas constitution requires legislators to develop maps that keep communities of interest, such as Hays county together. Our concerns are very different from Travis and Bexar county. Our concerns are very different from Real and Bandera. Please join me in requesting that new maps keep Hays county together in a single district.
