The Keep Fiberglass Out of Fast Food petition has now surpassed 19,000 signatures!
Nineteen thousand consumers have joined together to send a clear message to the fast food industry:
Fiberglass has no place in food preparation!
This milestone is a testament to the growing number of people who believe consumers deserve transparency and that fiberglass-free alternatives should become the standard whenever possible.
And we're starting to see signs that our voices are being heard.
As we shared previously, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers announced that it is working with its grill manufacturer, AccuTemp, to explore fiberglass-free release sheet alternatives. We remain hopeful that this process will ultimately lead to a public commitment to adopt fiberglass-free liners across its restaurants.
That would be a major step forward - not just for Freddy’s customers, but for the entire industry.
But we aren't there yet.
The reality is that many quick-service restaurants continue to use fiberglass-containing release sheets, and meaningful industry-wide change will only happen if consumers continue to demand it.
That's why we're asking for your help today.
Our Next Goal: 30,000 Signatures by Labor Day!
We need 11,000 more people to join this movement.
That may sound like a lot, but it's entirely achievable if everyone who has already signed helps spread the word.
Think about it...If every supporter convinced just one additional person to sign the petition, we would not only reach 30,000 signatures, we would far surpass it!
That's the kind of momentum that fast food companies can't ignore.
Here's How You Can Help:
1. Share the petition on social media.
2. Text the petition to friends and family.
3. Post it in community groups.
4. Forward this email to people who care about what's in their food.
Ask just one person to sign today.
Every signature matters.
Every conversation matters.
Every share helps bring us closer to a future where fiberglass-containing materials are no longer used in food preparation.
We're making progress. Companies are listening. The petition continues to grow.
Now let's make sure they hear us even louder.
Help us reach 30,000 signatures by Labor Day.
Because at the end of the day, the goal remains simple:
Our food should be free of fiberglass!
Thank you for being part of this movement.
