I’m a high school student who worked overtime and extra hours during the summer to be able to drive to school for grade 11 and grade 12. It is unfair to the students who rely on driving themselves to school if they have to pay for parking. Festival Place parking lot should remain free of charge not only for students but also for citizens of the community who want to enjoy this public space without additional costs. Keeping it free encourages more people to participate in community events, supports local businesses, and reduces financial strain on families.
