Victory!

Dear students, parents, family, alumni, and supporters everywhere. If you haven't already received the news, we are excited to share that on January 25th The Baltimore City School Board of Commissioners rejected the recommendation so close Dr. Bernard Harris Sr. Elementary School (#250)! We cannot thank everyone enough for your letters, emails, testimony, and ongoing advocacy for the school! Every individual effort directly helped us to to convince the School Board to make the right decision by our youth and community. Your support is truly appreciated! As we celebrate this hard fought victory, let us also use this moment to recognize the importance of continuing to support our beloved school to ensure that the teachers, students and parents of the community have the resources they need not only to keep the doors open, but also to foster an excellent educational environment and produce life long learning experiences.
