Coco’s Neighborhood Coffee Shop is a cozy spot known for their homemade cakes, sandwiches, and welcoming atmosphere. They’ve poured their time, money, and heart into improving the space and creating a warm, inclusive place where neighbors, friends, and families can gather.

All of that is at risk at the hands of the landlord who plans to end the lease so a family member can open a homeopathy clinic in its place. This news comes at a time when Nicole (Coco) is in their third trimester and cannot afford the logistics of a move, new staff, etc.

By signing this petition, you are sending a clear demand to the landlord:

➡️ We want Coco's to stay and demand a reversal of the eviction notice 

If these demands are not met, we fully expect Coco to receive compensation for the improvements made to the space and an extension to their eviction notice. 

Toronto stands behind its small businesses and the people who make our neighborhoods special, we will not stand by idly as our city loses it's gems.
