Hi everyone,
Thank you for adding your name to the petition in support of City Lights. It speaks to how much thoughtful, consistent arts coverage matters to this city.
I’m glad to share some great news: that spirit continues with the launch of The ATL Arts Collective, a new weekly podcast debuting April 15 in partnership with ArtsATL.
Hosted by Kim Drobes, with contributions from voices including Lois Reitzes and Jon Goode, the podcast will carry forward the kind of in-depth arts and culture storytelling that has long helped connect Atlanta’s creative community with a broader audience.
As many of you know, sustaining galleries and arts spaces in Atlanta is no small task. Coverage from outlets like ArtsATL—and previously City Lights—plays a real role in that ecosystem, helping artists, organizations, and audiences find one another. And of course, none of it exists without the collectors and supporters who show up and invest in the arts.
You can learn more and follow the podcast here:
If you’re inclined, they’ve also launched a patron page:
If everyone who signed the petition follows the podcast and shares it with a few friends, it will give this new platform a strong start.
Thanks again for supporting Atlanta’s arts community.
Best,
Shawn Vinson | The Sun ATL
