Keep Bundaberg Greyhound Club Racing and Upgrade the Track to Loam

The issue

We are calling on Racing Minister Tim Mander to show his support for the Bundaberg Greyhound Club by ensuring the continuation of racing at our track, while also approving the much-needed conversion of the racing surface to loam.

Bundaberg’s greyhound racing community is strong, passionate, and dedicated to the sport. Our club has been a vital part of Queensland’s regional racing, bringing together participant’s, families and spectators in a shared love for the sport. In order to maintain the safety, competitiveness, and integrity of our races, we believe that upgrading the track to loam is a crucial step forward.

This petition is being submitted as part of our support for the Minister’s review into racing, and it demonstrates that our community stands united in its desire to preserve greyhound racing at Bundaberg and improve the facilities for both our dogs and spectators. We ask Minister Mander to listen to our voices and support the future of greyhound racing in Bundaberg by approving the upgrade of the circle track and convert the racing surface to loam.

Let’s show that Bundaberg’s greyhound racing community is strong, committed, and ready to embrace this positive change for the future of the sport!

I'd also like to mention that donations on the petition platform change.org help promote the petition to a wider audience, however please know that this is not expected. Your continued support through signing, sharing, and spreading the word is more than enough.

Let’s keep the momentum going.
