We thought we'd post some links to some of the media coverage we've had this week in case you didn't catch it. Generally it was fairly balanced or even sympathetic, but we were disappointed that the council misinformed the papers that the proposal was only up to 7 days in the summer, when the application is for up to 20 or more. (13 Saturdays + 7 or more event days). As it stands, the huge support for our campaign (850 signatories and rising) hasn't led to any increase in time for consultation, or the council understanding our objection is to a nature reserve being used as a car park, not that we're asking for the application to be tweaked a little. We need to keep up the pressure. Thanks to those of you who have made comments on the District Council website.
