Anclote River Park is a quiet place for locals to relax and enjoy nature. There was a plan to build a restaurant with water sport rentals, boat excursions, floating docks, and space for live entertainment.  That plan has been terminated, but it’s still open for a 3,000 square foot restaurant in the future. We need to keep fighting this so NO restaurant will ever be built at Anclote River Park. This would still cause overcrowding and create a hostile environment for our wildlife by increasing litter pollution and commotion. There are also sacred lands, an Indian Midden Mound. It used to be a Temple Mound which means there was a burial mound as well.  We would like to keep Anclote River Park quiet and safe. Thank you for your support!
