Hi Neighbors, 

This past Tuesday the City Planning Commission hosted a public hearing to review the proposed zone change. Thank you to all the neighbors that joined to share their opposition. 

Good news - The commission voted 7-0 in favor of denying the zoning request. This is a small win for us. The final step is for this to be voted on by the City Council. There is still work to be done - in 2017 a similar property and zoning change request was denied by CPC but was then approved by the Council members. 

The timing of next steps:

• The City Council typically takes action within 60 days of receiving the recommendation from the Planning Commission.
• This next meeting will be open to the public for opposition. We will update the group when the date is available. We need a big turn out for this meeting!
